Throughout the year, guests have a choice of cruising grounds to select from in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. With Kemana IV’s speed and range, many islands can be visited during the time onboard.
Our skipper will help you plan your trip and will advise you on suitable anchorages and excellent restaurants ashore.
From November to April Kemana 4 is available for cruises in the Andaman Sea. This area stretches froom Lankawi Island, Malaysia to the South;;through to the Boateng Islands, Phi Phi, Phang Nga Bay, Phuket, Similan and Surin Islands; the Mergui Archipelago, Burma. This is a safe cruising area offering superb clean water for diving and sea sports with an interesting cultural diversity and the benefit of good weather.
From Map to October join Kemana IV in Singapore or at Tioman Island , located off the east coast of Malaysia. From Singapore, visit Tioman or the Anambas Islands. From Tioman, Malaysia all the surrounding islands.
There are scheduled daily flights to Tioman from Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Kemana IV is berthed at Tioman Marina, approximately a 5-minute walk from the airport terminal. The Anambas Islands in Indocnesia are more remote but are well worth visiting.
We can suggest recommended itineraries, with durations of 1—8 days, for any of our service areas. The seasons for visiting each area are:
- Langkawi and Phuket, Similan and Surin Islands - April to October
- Andaman Islands - February to April
- Tioman, Aur and Anambas Islands - April to October
Trips can be tailored to suit your wishes: Diving, snorkeling, kayaking, fishing, sailing, and wakeboarding are all available. Of course, we can make choosing a restaurant ashore easy as well.
